We are a Diamond Sydney Invisalign Provider. What does this mean?

To help patients look for the most experienced dentist to straighten their teeth, Invisalign created 5 levels of provider status - of which Diamond is the highest. A Diamond provider is an "Elite Status" given to the top 1% of Invisalign dentists. There are only two general dental clinics in Sydney that have achieved this status, including Spa Dental Sydney CBD.

Essentially, this status is a clear indication of how experienced the dental professional is at delivering Invisalign. To be awarded the Diamond status, an orthodontist or dentist must consistently treat at least 151 people annually using Invisalign clear aligners.

This means when looking for a provider of Invisalign in Sydney to help straighten your teeth, you can be confident Spa Dental Sydney is one of the most experienced clinics with Diamond status.

On top of this, Invisalign and Align Technology have recognised our Dr Lawrence Neville by inviting him to teach other dentists about cosmetic dentistry, how to use the Invisalign system and the work he carries out at Spa Dental. Dr Neville is also a part of the Invisalign innovation team to develop new technology and products.

Over 3 million patients are smiling with confidence thanks to Invisalign. Without brackets or wires, Invisalign takes a modern approach to teeth straightening and is virtually invisible.

FAQs About Invisalign Treatment

In short, Invisalign aligners come in a set; and each of the aligners will need to be worn at a different time in the treatment timeline and will need to be used in chronological order.

And as this aligner is custom printed and uses computer technology, our team will be able to map the course of movement that your teeth need to take to arrive at the end result. And so, with the malleable but tough plastic, your teeth will be gently pushed into their desired alignment.

Invisible aligners can treat mild to moderate misalignments and orthodontic issues.

So, whether you have a mild overbite or moderate spacing issues, this aligner will be able to correct them. But to be sure that you are suited for this treatment, book a consultation with our team.

Assuming that your orthodontic issues are mild to moderate, alongside you having good oral and physical health and presuming you are over the age of 18, you will probably be suitable for treatment with these aligners.

Again, contact our team to be sure and to double-check that you will benefit from these aligners as opposed to other orthodontic options.

This depends on how severe your misalignment is; for most cases, the corrections to make your smile straighter will occur in around 3-6 months. But this can be longer.

Every day, in order to achieve these results, you will need to wear the aligner for a minimum of 22 hours in each 24.

Yes, you will but don't worry, it is easy to clean!

When your aligner has food debris on it or has been stained, simply rinse it under a cool tap and remove the debris with a soft-bristled brush. Do not use hot water as this can cause warping.

Medicare helps people from low income families access affordable healthcare. Unfortunately Medicare does not cover the cost of most dental services and it does not cover cosmetic orthodontic treatment carried out using invisible braces such as Invisalign.

The cost of your treatment with Invisalign will depend on three main factors. We will look at the complexity of your orthodontic issues, how long it will take to straighten your teeth and how many aligners are needed to do so. There are two ways of finding out the approximate cost of the treatment. If you send us a selfie we can assess the misalignment issues of your teeth and give you an estimate of the price of the treatment. For an accurate price you will need to visit us at the practice so that we can undergo a thorough examination of your teeth and put together a treatment plan for you.

There are four standard treatment plans. These are i7, Invisalign Lite, Invisalign Moderate and Invisalign Comprehensive. Invisalign i7 is for minor misalignment issues of the teeth, which aims to straighten your teeth with only 7 aligners and is the cheapest Invisalign option here at Spa Dental Sydney CBD.

Invisalign cannot change the shape of your teeth. If your teeth are small or misshapen then Invisalign may not be suitable for you. It is also so unsuitable for patients who suffer from severe overbite or underbite. It cannot be used to correct intrusions or extrusions and cannot correct large gaps between the teeth. For these issues it is recommended that you undergo traditional orthodontic treatment.

A twisted tooth can not only affect the appearance of your smile but it can also have a detrimental impact on your dental health. Invisalign can rotate teeth up to a certain degree. if your tooth is twisted more than 20 degrees then it is recommended that you undergo traditional orthodontic treatment for best results.

Invisalign can be used to address mild or moderate misalignment tissues of the teeth. This includes teeth that are crooked and wonky, overlapping or overcrowded and protruding front teeth. These factors can really affect the appearance of your smile and with Invisalign you can move them into a neater formation.

A full set of Invisalign also known as Invisalign Comprehensive is used for the treatment of moderate to complex orthodontic issues. Invisalign comprehensive takes approximately 12 months to straighten your teeth and will cost approximately $10000. This is inclusive of all check ups, x-rays, scans, photos and reviews. It also includes a retainer which you will be provided with at the end of the treatment.

On average, straightening your teeth with Invisalign at SPA Dental Sydney CBD can cost between $3,500 to $10,000 and as mentioned this will depend on your unique dental needs.

All packages are inclusive of Invisalign-related check-ups, xrays, scans, photos and reviews as well as a removable retainer and fixed wire issued at the end of treatment." is not fully present on the Invisalign page.
